Biography

Arlene Stuart (born circa 1967) is a Scottish broadcaster best known as a former television continuity announcer and currently, a presenter for 97.3 Forth One in Edinburgh.

Career

Stuart began her career at Grampian Television in 1988 as a staff announcer. During her time at the station, she also read Grampian Headlines news bulletins throughout the day and presented various regional programs for the station including the rural affairs program Country Matters, documentary series The River and Grampian's local & networked contributions to the ITV Telethons.

Stuart left Grampian in the mid-nineties to become a presenter of Scottish Television's children's magazine show Wemyss Bay 902101 before joining BBC Scotland as an announcer and transmission director. She also hosted occasional programs for the Corporation including her own lifestyle show, Feeling Good and was a regular presenter for BBC Radio Scotland.

Following on from a stint at 1548 Forth 2 presenting a weekday lunchtime show and a phone-in on Sunday mornings, Stuart now co-presents the weekday breakfast show Boogie in the Morning on Forth 1 alongside commercial and corporate voiceover work.
