Biography

Ann Arnold (1936 – 28 December 2015) was an English fine artist and a member of the Brotherhood of Ruralists. She was a figurative artist.
Ann Arnold was born in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, and studied at Epsom School of Art (1956–1959). She worked as an art therapist, and founded the Association of Art Therapists.
She married fellow artist Graham Arnold in 1961. She was a founder member of the Brotherhood of Ruralists with him, Sir Peter Blake, David Inshaw, Graham Ovenden, Annie Ovenden and Jann Haworth.
She mainly worked in oil on canvas and watercolour.
She was an Academician of the South West Academy of Fine and Applied Art.
She died on 28 December 2015.
