Biography

Angus Beck (born July 2, 1951) is a Canadian retired professional ice hockey player. Beck was selected by the California Golden Seals in the 8th round (99th overall) of the 1971 NHL Amateur Draft. Beck played junior hockey in the Maritime Junior Hockey League where in the 1969-70 season he set a new league record for most points in a single season. In 1971 Beck was drafted by the California Golden Seals, and he went on to play five seasons of minor league hockey before hanging up his skates following the 1975-76 season played in the Southern Hockey League with the Winston-Salem Polar Twins.
