Andrew McCowie (born 1875 in Cambuslang, Scotland) was a Scottish footballer who played as an inside right for Liverpool F.C. in The Football League. McCowie signed for Liverpool in 1896 from the amateur Scottish team Cambuslang Hibernian. He became a fixture in the Liverpool side, playing 19 matches in the 1897–98 season. The following season, he scored five goals in 12 matches as Liverpool finished runners-up to Aston Villa F.C.
In 1899, McCowie joined Woolwich Arsenal, then in the Second Division, scoring seven goals in 28 league appearances (34 appearances overall). He moved to Middlesbrough F.C. early in the 1900-01 season and then to Chesterfield F.C.
