Biography
Andrea Tarozzi (born 17 October 1973) is a former Italian footballer.
Biography
Born in San Giovanni in Persiceto, the Province of Bologna, Tarozzi started his career at Bologna at Serie B and followed the team relegated to Serie C1 in 1993.
After made his Serie A debut in 1996–97 season, in July 1997 he joined Fiorentina for 6.5 billion Italian lire, with Daniele Carnasciali moved to opposite direction, priced 1.75 billion lire.
After the bankrupt of la viola, Tarozzi became a free agent, and joined Serie B side Ternana on 23 August.
In 2002–03 season, he moved to Como, also at Serie B. He then played for Serie C1 side Padova and Sassuolo.
Coaching
He was the team manager of Sassuolo (as of 2009–10 season), while Giovanni Rossi was the sports director and Stefano Pioli was the head coach.
In 2011 he passed his category 2 coaching exam, made him eligible to coach Lega Pro teams.
