Alfredo Zuany (born July 21, 1934 in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico) is a retired Mexican professional boxer in the Heavyweight division and the former Mexican National Heavyweight Champion.

Early life

Alfredo was a Mexican boxer of Italian heritage from his father's side. Lived in Los Angeles, CA Married Alicia Saenz in 1962 Had three Children (sons Alfredo, Tony, Chago) Three grandchildren (Stephanie Zuany, Steven Zuany, Dianna Zuany)

Died February 19, 2007

Professional career

In November 1957, Zuany beat the undefeated Puggy Jones by K.O. in just thirty two seconds of the sixth round. The bout was held in Phoenix, Arizona. Mexican Olympic team for the Helsinki Games Pan-American Game participant
