Alexander Wilson (1832–1888) was an American lawyer.
Born in Westfield, New York, Wilson graduated from Union College. Wilson then moved to Dubuque, Iowa, where he studied law and was admitted to the bar. He then moved to Mineral Point, Wisconsin to practice law. He served as district attorney of Iowa County, Wisconsin, county judge, and superintendent of schools. He also operated a bank and served as Wisconsin Attorney General from 1878 to 1882.
