Biography
Addie Sartino (born 15 April 1998) is an American singer, songwriter, feminist, and musician. She is the lead vocalist and frontwoman of The Greeting Committee—an Indie-pop band from Kansas City, Missouri.
Sartino was born on 15 April 1998 in Elgin, Illinois.
The Greeting Committee was formed in the summer of 2014 by Sartino (lead vocals), Brandon Yangmi (guitar), Pierce Turcotte (bass), and Austin Fraser (drums) while they were attending Blue Valley High School in Overland Park, Kansas.
In June 2018, Sartino wrote a piece in Rookie magazine discussing growing up and doing so as part of the LGBTQ community—themes that often appear in her lyrics.
