Biography

Adama Traoré (born 17 January 1989 in Bamako) is a Malian footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for Calais RUFC.

Career

Traoré began his career with the Centre Salif Keita, here earned in the season 2007–08 his first professional caps and signed than on 6 October 2008 for Paris Saint-Germain. After seven games for the reserve and two games in the Ligue 1 left in summer 2009 PSG to sign for SR Saint-Dié. He played in the first half of the 2009–10 season three games for his club SR Saint-Dié and signed in January 2010 for Calais RUFC.

International career

The attacking midfielder is part of the Mali national under-20 football team and presented them at 2009 African Youth Championship in Rwanda.

Adama Traore also played for Botswana under 23's during the 2010 world cup qualifiers.
