Abdulmotaleb El Saddik is a computer scientist, currently a Distinguished University Professor and University Research Chair in Ambient Interactive Media and Communications at University of Ottawa, and a published author. He is a member of the Engineering Institute of Canada, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Canadian Academy of Engineering and Association for Computing Machinery.
